Join us in this captivating episode as we sit down with Emmanuel, a highly accomplished athletic performance professional currently serving as the Strength and Conditioning Assistant at Detroit Lions. Emmanuel takes us on a thrilling journey through their career, sharing valuable insights and experiences gained from working with various collegiate sports programs.

Emmanuel brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, having previously spent three seasons with the University of Arkansas Football team from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they honed their skills at Michigan State University, working with the Women’s Basketball and Volleyball programs for one and a half seasons from 2018 to 2020.

But their journey doesn’t stop there. Emmanuel also significantly contributed to the University of Louisville Football program for one and a half seasons from 2017 to 2018. Before Louisville, they made a lasting impact at Northern Illinois University, where they worked with various sports programs, including Volleyball, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Women’s Track and Field, and Cross Country. Additionally, they assisted the football team during their three-year tenure from 2014 to 2017.

The early stages of Emmanuel’s career showcased their versatility, as they worked with various sports programs at Western Carolina University in 2014. They also gained valuable experience during their internship at LSU, where they contributed to developing football, volleyball, women’s soccer, and baseball teams from 2013 to 2014.

In this episode, Emmanuel shares their passion for athletic performance, drawing from their own collegiate athletic career as a Wide Receiver at Wheaton College from 2008 to 2012. They provide valuable insights into the challenges and successes they have encountered throughout their professional journey, highlighting the importance of certifications such as CSCS, CSCCa, and USAW1.

In addition to their extensive professional background, Emmanuel shares a personal side, discussing their marriage to Tamaria (pronounced Tamara) Hibbler and their educational accomplishments, including a B.S. from Wheaton College and an M.S. from Northern Illinois University.
